Music
There’s always a soundtrack, even if it’s in my head.
One way to really understand a concept is to program it’s result as an algorithm. The act of translating a process into its most basic primitive instructions reveals its cohesive logic. Yet, such a reductionist approach falls short when trying to understand hope, struggle, wonder and love. For me, making music provides another way. Using the tools of analogue synthesis, sequences and samples, I work to sound out questions of identity, anticipation, meaning, hope and loss. Thanks for listening.
